Zuni Indian Art The Native American Indian Zuni art have devised styles and design motifs based on natural forms. This has given rise to some of the most popular types of Indian pottery and sculpture available today, from carved stone shapes on necklaces to colorful representations of animals, representations of animals, birds, plants and Native American Indian dancers. Zuni depictions of rainbow and knife-wing deities were popular by the 1940s, and these figures were followed by recreations of Native American figure carvings of kachinas, sun faces, skysnakes,owls and Indian spirit figures. |
